Watertown International Airport is owned and operated by Jefferson County, New York. It is a public use, FAA Part 139 certificated airport serving Northern New York, Southern Ontario and the Fort Drum region. With twice daily service to Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) by American Airlines, traveling has never been easier.

Title VI Airport Nondiscrimination Program

NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY
AGENCY: Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Transportation
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has reviewed the Environmental Assessment (EA) for the proposed Airport Terminal and Gateway Redevelopment Project (the Project) at Watertown International Airport (ART). Based on the assessment, the FAA has determined the project as proposed would not significantly affect the quality of the human environment and that an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is not necessary. A Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) has been issued and can viewed with the EA at the following location:

Watertown International Airport proudly serves the men and women of our neighbor Fort Drum and the 10th Mountain Division and actively seeks to provide connections for our soldiers with family and friends throughout the country and the world. PUBLIC NOTICE
Intention to:
File Passenger Facility Charge Notice of Intent 24-02-C-00-ART
Jefferson County, the operator of the Watertown International Airport (ART) is posting this public notice as part of the Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) process, adhering to the requirements under 14 CFR § 158.24. ART intends to submit a Notice of Intent to “Impose & Use” PFCs on 12 projects. The County requests to utilize PFCs to reimburse for local funding on each project, with a total request to impose and use $556,301 in PFCs at this time. The proposed PFC level of collection is proposed to continue at $4.50 per eligible enplaned passenger. The estimated charge effective date for this Notice of Intent is anticipated as April 1, 2024 with an estimated charge expiration date of January 1, 2031, based on current annual enplanement projections. The following projects anticipated for inclusion in this Notice of Intent are identified and described below:
